New site for Relate Mid Surrey

Having relationship problems? You’re not alone! Every relationship runs into difficulties at some point. And when that happens, thousands of people use our counselling services. So there’s no need to feel nervous or embarrassed about getting expert help from Relate Mid Surrey.

Relate Mid Surrey are a member of Relate, the UK’s largest provider of relationship support, and every year they help over a million people of all ages, backgrounds and sexual orientations to strengthen their relationships.

THE BRIEF

We were contacted by Relate Mid Surrey in October 2019 after they experienced issues with their current provider and were left without service or support.

Although a busy period for us, we understood just how important their work is and were all too happy to help them out and get them back up and running.

We had the site back up and running in no time with a support and service schedule to match RMS requirements including on site meetings with plenty of advice and guidance.

The main focus point of the website was to showcase their help and support services; Relationship Counselling, Mediation Services, Family Counselling, Young Peoples Counselling, Sex Therapy, Separation & Divorce and Webcam Counselling, with the purpose of engaging with people and offering a simple solution to get in contact.

SOLUTION

This custom WordPress theme, makes clever use of the Advanced Custom Fields plugin to help us create a complex front-end, whilst ensuring it is simple to edit and maintain.

There were a few areas where we needed to display some data in a nice table, and we used our ‘go to’ plugin for this, TablePress.

As per the client request, we made use of the ‘Bitter‘ font for the headings throughout the site.

The website also has an integrated, custom designed Twitter feed showing the latest tweets from Relate Mid Surrey, as well as linking out to various core pages on the main Relate website.

RESULT

Due to the tight time constraints, the project was managed over a very short time so as not to have too much of an impact on the client operations and to get them back up and running prior to Christmas, always a busy time.

We delivered on time and on budget, resulting in a very happy client and knowing we helped make a difference really inspires us to go that extra mile where we can.

As always, the website looks great and works great across a multitude of devices, including desktop computers, smartphones and tablets.

SEO

The goal of the site and the on going SEO project is to increase the awareness of the Counselling and Mediation services to residents of Surrey especially in the areas encompasing Dorking, Reigate and Epsom.

The Search Engine project along with a targeted Google AdWords campaign has resulted in a dramatic increase in traffic and booking for Relate Mid Surrey highly valuable Mediation service.
