Surrey’s leading bioengineering firm Terraqua recently acquired a new domain name that more closely aligns with their corporate name.
The URL Terraqua-ES.co.uk, that the company used to go by has been replaced by the URL Terraqua.co.uk.
The website content was refreshed to reflect the new services offered that include Lake and Pond design and build along with a greater focus on environmentally friendly aquatic plants and coir rolls.
Changing a website domain is a complex process to ensure that all existing links, references, images and embedded content function correctly with the new domain. The Google search index needs to be updated along with Bing and Yahoo to ensure continued SEO performance. Any existing links to the site should also be updated.
The new domain was purchased by Taybridge on behalf of the client and the website transitioned over a weekend with no down time.
